Average arm strength, though better than Cassel's.

Throws a poor deep ball.

Needs serious work on decision making. At times he looked like he knew exactly where he was going with the ball and failed to look at other WR's, (sound familiar?) often forcing the ball into coverage. Turnovers.

I'd be interested to see more games, because it seemed he took a lot of unnecessary sacks. This comes back to decision making, IMO.

Doesn't seem like the type that throws his WR open, he waits until they are open, giving the defense more time to react - again, sound like someone we know?

Of course, these are all things that can be worked on. The one thing this kid seems to have in spades is work ethic (again, so does Cassel) so with some hard work and good coaching he can probably be a decent starting QB.

But I don't see him having the natural talent to be much more than a game manager.

JMO.

I'm not being sensitive. What you just did is nothing more than a skewing of data that doesn't accurately represent the kind of QB that Stanzi is.

If you want talk about the cons to Stanzi's play on the field, do it legitimately like OTW and others have been doing on this very thread. What I saw in the video that you posted were some situations that put Stanzi in shitty positions. Some of the plays were Ricky's fault, but a lot of them were not.

Yeah, it's the same treatment that Cassel gets around here (ie "it's not all his fault.") But I'd much rather see if Stanzi can overcome those initial hangups. I know for a fact that Cassel has not and can not and never will. This is as good as he gets.
