Maybe he'll start next year, but the cost benefit analysis is going to result in a restructuring of his contract, if they elect to restructure they'll draft or sign his replacement. Restructuring indicates that he hasn't preformed to the level of his contract. Hence, they look elsewhere.

Cassel will be the starting QB for atleast 2 more seasons unless Haley is fired and they bring in a coach that has more control.

I think I've already settled on just rooting on my 2nd favorite team(whoever is playing Dallas) for the near future. If they don't at least try to draft a QB in the first round this year, then it's obvious they don't give a shit about ever winning.

It's all about money and the stadium sells out every week... I wouldn't change if I were the Chiefs owner, hell look at the business side of it, obviously the fans of CP are in the minority here.
