I'm with you Fax.
Scott Pioli comes out of this looking like a piece of crap. He bets everything on Cassel, and of all people, he should have know Cassel sucks, given the familiarity. Tells Haley Cassel is his QB. Blames Haley for Cassel's 2009 blowfest. Forces Weis on Haley to fix Cassel, who after watching 5 minutes of film, concludes Cassel is a lost cause, and refuses to work with him. But most damning, is all the shit he leak to the media about Haley. Who in the **** will want to work for Pioli now? One more thing: Pioli and McDaniels were on the market at the same time originally. If I were Clark Hunt, I'd want to know why didn't we hire McD THEN. If they are so tight, McD would have waited for Pioli to accept the job. |

Without any question, Todd Haley had plenty of flaws. But in a few years, if we line up Pioli, Haley, Clark, Cassel and anyone else who's been a key part of the Chiefs power structure since the start of 2009, and we rank them in order of who did the most amount of good for the Chiefs -- or the least amount of bad, if you prefer -- I'd bet dollars to donuts that Haley wins in a landslide. And now those other guys are all that's left. ![]() |
