That would be awesome if he ends up being a JR with brains (Greene had an offer from Harvard) or Xavier Henry. I don't know if he's that good, though.

I've watched every other team that is generally considered to be top 10-15 a few times now. KU is very easily on the same level of those teams with the potential to be even better.

I'm honestly not too worried about a loss to Davidson...it's what they do down the road that will decide how successful this season is. Perhaps the loss will even help the players realize what can happen if they play without effort for any period of time against any decent opponent.

If that's what Greene turns out to be it would be just fine.
Brandon Rush is 6'6", 210. Perhaps a closer comparison, based on dimensions.

KCC has made the '10-15th best team in the country' comment several times this season.

Besides, weren't you the one mocking us the other night about officiating, even though no one was talking about officiating (much less all the other trolling)? It's not like the average rival fan needs to read what's here before taking shots, much less someone who's the top poster or top rival poster in just about every KU or conference realignment thread in the past several months.

If it was that obvious, it would have been one more thing you could bash KU about. Not that it made much sense after the fact, either, but it doesn't have to as long as people keep responding, or something.

Your post is a complete failure.

He said, after the Davidson game, that this team is definitely one of the 10-15 best teams in the country. I asked what made it so obvious to him. I never said they obviously weren't.

I think it's possible that they are. Its also possible that they aren't a top 25 team. I even said that they look like they belong in the high teens to low twenties.

The AP had then at 12 before the Davidson game. They will likely be around 15 when the next poll comes out, but I don't see anything that screams "obvious top 10-15 team" to me. I just don't think they have anything resembling elite talent outside of Robinson.

The closest anyone has come to a rebuttal is pants who said that Johnson and Taylor had the talent to be very good.

I think Johnson is a nice role player, but Taylor looks like a train looking for a place to wreck. Then you've got Withey and Teahen rounding out your starting five.

I'm not sure that anyone other than Robinson would start on any team in the top 5, maybe the top 10. (As a Mizzou fan, if I could have any player on your team for this season other than T-Rob, I'd be tempted to take Withey. We need more size, but I still don't know if he would start.)

You're on this "Taylor sucks" kick right now. Taylor turns the ball over more than he should....but he's a damn good player.

He's exactly what Self wants at point guard if he stops with the stupid turnovers.

That's a pretty big qualifier considering that it's a huge hole in his game. He's a fourth year starter, and his assist to turnover ratio is 1.1:1.

Part of it may be that he has to look to score a lot more this year. He's shooting almost twice as often as in the past which makes sense when there are no Morris twins or Cole Aldrich or Sherron Collins to take on that scoring role.
