Can't see the video but I assume it was a public marriage proposal. Which is the reason I would never do a public marriage proposal, if I had ANY doubt at ALL that she'd say "yes".

I was going to ask my wife on the top hill of the Millennium Force coaster in Cedar Point. Then I realized that whipping out a diamond while going 90 MPH was probably not a great idea. So I waited until after the trip, when she and I were swimming in her parents' pool, with no one else around. So if she said "no" I'd be the only one who'd know, LOL.

I thought it looked fake too honestly. Hard telling though. According to a reporter for the LA Times who was there, officials at UCLA said this was not staged. Several people around them in the stands also said it seemed real, but who knows.
