YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
edit: NO NO NO NO NO (re: this Nattie shit) lol filler matchez [Am I crazy for thinking Santino is over enough and a decent enough worker at this point to become a legit face midcarder? Shit on him getting (uber-cheap, non heat destroying) pins and all, but the crowd was into that shit. And Bryan's a chickenshit heel, I have no problem with any of what happened there. Smarks are going apeshit but I thought it was pretty entertaining considering the alternatives and generally horrible booking leading up to it.]

I thought they did a great job during the match of trying to make santino a legit threat. I was like "if he wins I'm done", which means I thought it might actually be happening. So they worked me real welll. And Danielson took a hell of a beating. I didn't think they'd pull the trigger on him, but they sure as hell have.
That natty shit is the worst ever. |

That was such a terrible, pointless angle. Literally the only thing they accomplished was destroying Ryder's heat (how dare he get himself over!).

I'm starting to think they're ****ing over Jericho on purpose. Two PPVs in a row where they've run out of time for him to do his major angle (they teased he'd say/do something later in the show tonight). No excuse for that tonight with the Johnny Ace stuff and the pointless Swagger match.

I kind of expected him to do something and kind of expected him to just say "YOU NEVER BEAT ME, PUNK" on Raw, so I don't mind too much. So much filler on that show, though.

**** you, Cena. Yeah, this is what I said right after I saw it. Only thing that woulda made it better is if Jericho & Punk hadn't touched each other, but I guess they've already wrestled before so it's whatever. I can't wait to see this thing get fully going on the mic, I'm gunna mark like a bitch every week. |

Oh, I'm sure Jericho and Punk will be built tonight, but the thing I'm talking about is how this is two ppvs in a row where he's supposed to do something and then gotten sidelined. First it was supposed to be the "end of the world" at Royal Rumble and....nothing. And now he gets "hurt" (which, btw, I thought for sure was a work, and he was going to come in at the end and pin Punk - I'm sure Vince didn't do that because it was "predictable"), there's a backstage segment with him getting medical attention alluding to something more and then...nothing.
It makes me wonder if it's all tied to the difficulties they (supposedly) had getting him re-signed and if he's being punished. Although at the same time, I think those difficulties were probably a work, too. Either way, it doesn't seem like a very main event way to treat a guy. They certainly haven't cut any of this horrendous Cena bullshit that everyone in the world hates to fit in diva matches or backstage fart scetches. Along that line, I'm sure we'll see plenty of Cena/Kane/Ryder/Eve tonight. Rock isn't due to appear live until next week. |

And it seemed pretty obvious after the first match that they were stalling for time with all those stupid Santino segments (although I'll admit, he made the SD Chamber watchable), Cena promo videos and that really stupid Gabriel/Thwagger segment. So I haven't got a clue why they didn't give an update on Jericho until after the show... Ryder had to go through a bunch of shit to even think about a re-match for the US Title, but Gabriel gets a shot just by defending the little guy backstage? Makes no sense. |
