One would like to think this but I think you might be forgetting a couple things.

Condon is based in KC. Hell, he was a former Chief, and one would have to think he kinda has some knowledge as to how this organization operates from a front office standpoint.

Secondly, this is the first time that Manning's had to deal with FA. You would think that Manning ultimately calls the shots, as do all players theoretically, but you can't say that his agent doesn't have any input at all.
