It's crazy how many people inch by, especially those who are going 5mph over the speed limit just to slow down when they're passing a truck.

If something goes wrong, the first person I gotta save is me... Even if it was not my fault, the day I killed someone, I don't think I could ever drive again.

This. I've tried telling people that they need to NOT slam on the brakes to avoid swerving but some of them just don't get it.

I couldn't open the original video: The link below is a longer version of the accident.

Great save by the white truck

http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos-12...crash-ever.htm

It looks like the SUV was (drafting) behind the white truck and then pulled out in order to pass him.

the white truck could have sucked the air off the SUV as he pulled up alongside to pass causing the driver to lose control.

Just look during the next snow/ice storm. A majority of the vehicles in ditches are 4WD because so many people buy them and think they are invincible. You have to understand how your vehicle responds and adjust to weather conditions.
Its more that they think because they have an SUV they can drive faster because they have more "control". It pisses me off to no end when I see SUV go flying by in conditions like that because they think the SUV is designed to work normally in that kind of weather. When it is slick and snowy you slow the hell down. I don't give a crap what you are driving.

You can clearly see at the :18-:19 mark the SUV wanders into the center slush
