Have you tried it with headphones like jiveturkey mentioned? I've found that it's a lot easier to concentrate on the audiobook that way.

That is a pretty good read, very funny is some parts.

I started Headhunters by Jo Nesbo last night, so far so good. Jo is the next great Norwegian author, I found out about him while reading the Dragon Tattoo series.

So far I like Jo's style better than Steig's. There has also been a Norwegian movie made that is based on the book. It releases in the US on April, 27.

WWZ. just started it. maaybe 50 page in or so. not what I expected. wondering if it gets better. I'm very much surprised at all the political crap in there. on the one hand it does make it very realistic...considering it's about a zombie epidemic.....but enough already, more zombies and killing and stuff please. (not very high brow I know) does it get better?

I tried to listen to them at work and got distracted too often. I much prefer mindless drivel like Rovers morning glory, so if i miss a segment i still know whats going on. By the way that show is hilarious.

A Case for Christ was very shocking to me. Very informative. I had no idea there was so much info about Christ outside the bible. Just shocking. I may just read it again..... We'd know even if the bible didn't exist that.....

I read it pretty much every year, so I probably post about it every time I read it... but holy shit I love Raymond Carver's "Cathedral." Such a great ****ing story. I laugh out loud while reading it, marvel at the narrator's voice, and then am completely moved by the ending. So good.

Yes, aside from the bible. There are many historical documents that back up so many things in the bible. New testament especially. It is incredible. Too many to mention on here i could go on and on. Plus it would ignite a religious debate which i try to avoid on this board.
