I almost peed laughing at this one. The poor Browns

The good news is that he eventually came back, and the Bills traded his rights to Cleveland for a draft pick that turned into Jim Kelly. If that's too happy an ending for you, see the Bills formidable list of honorable mentions below.

Is that just wishful thinking on Vikes' fans part or do you think that has merit?

TRich is the player TB wants most, IMO. Minnesota can then grab Claiborne at 5.

The Vikes have too many holes--if Kalil is there he's the safest pick. Everything is posturing to try to trade-down for additional picks, IMHO.

It's hard to say, but if the Bucs trade up to draft a running back, both Dominik and Schiano will be fired before I have to renew my drivers license in 2015.

Definitely. Indy, St. Louis, and Minnesota all need as many draft picks as they can get their hands on.

St. Louis already fixed that problem. Indy will have to make do for now with their outstanding franchise QB (****ing Colts). Minnesota got kinda screwed in this deal. That Tampa trade, if the rumors are true, would be incredibly valuable to them. They've been eyeing Kalil and Claiborne anyway all this time. They'd be guaranteed to get one of them.

Yep. All my Viking fan buddies have been saying this for weeks. We'll see though....as that organization is at a bit of a cross-roads.

Report: Morris Claiborne is No. 1 player on Vikings draft board

Posted by Evan Silva on April 26, 2012, 4:09 PM EDT

Citing a source with knowledge of the situation, NFL Network’s Steve Wyche reports that LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne is the No. 1 player on the Vikings’ draft board, and they are “leaning toward” drafting Claiborne with the No. 3 overall pick in the draft.

Per Wyche, the Vikings also “like [Claiborne] more” than USC tackle Matt Kalil.

Appearing on ESPN’s NFL Draft Special Thursday, Adam Schefter seemed to agree with the notion that Claiborne is the favorite to be drafted with the third overall pick.

“There seems to be a feeling that they might be leaning toward Morris Claiborne while still considering Matt Kalil,” Schefter said.

The Vikings’ priority remains trading down, but if they stick to their draft board, Claiborne will be the third pick in the draft and a mini-slide could be in order for this year’s top-rated offensive tackle.
