I know the line needed depth, but its tough to take picks in the 2nd and 3rd round. Our 2nd and 3rd round pick won't see th field in 2012.....That's a tough thing to swallow for fans.

We must have gotten trumped somewhere along the way, because 2 offensive lineman certainly don't qualify as the surprise that Pioli promised.

This pick reminds me of the Arenas pick.

You don't draft FOR guys to be depth. What the ****.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Theme seems to be depth in the trenches and this draft is filled with it. I agree with you but at the same time it'd be nice to collect some picks. Would like to get some depth at safety and inside linebacker.

He or Massie were probably the next tackles, so doubt he would have been there.

Sounds like a bust.

It's funny watching everyone freak out about Stephenson... you guys do realize we have ZERO depth at tackle, right? Yes, we need safety depth and other spots as well... but don't act like it wasn't a HUGE need.

I have a question....who is our back up tackle? You said we need S, DE, RB ILB....we would be drafting a back up at each of those positions too. If Winston or Albert goes down, what do we do? This pick is a little bit of a project, but why the angst when we clearly need a back up tackle.

I know I would have lost sleep tonight if someone else had taken him before our R4 pick.
