butthurt? go back and read my posts about manning, prior to denver ever signing him. I've never liked the thought of a guy that is 36 years old, coming off his fourth major neck surgery, and having not played football in a year and a half coming to my team. Never. I thought paying anything more than an incentive laden deal, which he would do if it was all about winning, was worth the risk. Hindsight is 20/20, and now that I know what denver gave to get him, I'm laughing my ass off. There is no butthurt here. I'm glad you got rid of the one winner on your offense and AT LEAST 40 million (he'll be there for 2 years) in order to have an outside shot to win in the next two years. You still gotta beat the best in the AFC, which Manning could only do once when he was healthy, with a strong supporting cast, in a dome, when he was 4 years younger. Sorry, there is no butthurt, just the facts.
