Subway introduces Angus subs







Subway restaurants have introduced a line of Angus beef sandwiches, available for a limited time in nearly 1,000 stores in 10 Southeastern U.S. markets.

The latest offering, called Angus Melts, is being sold as 6-inch and footlong subs in three varieties. The three Angus Melts, available from Dec. 27 to Jan. 30, are:




* Classic Angus - steak patties with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles.

* Spicy Chipotle Angus - two steak patties covered with American cheese, Southwest chipotle sauce, green peppers and onions.

* Monterey Cheddar Ranch Angus - two steak patties made with shredded Monterey cheddar cheese, onions and ranch dressing.
