The good thing about this is that it happened fairly late in the offseason and Doom won't go to court for this for a year or two. Harvey Steinberg handles a lot of things like this for the Broncos, he is the best. Dumervil probably won't miss any games this year.

Next year though....

Harvey Steinberg has been fighting this for DJ for nearly two years and DJ hasn't been suspended yet. Hell, the last time DJ went to court for this it led to a mistrial. Harvey Steinberg is amazingly good at his job.

Yeah, I'd say this is a bit higher up on the personal conduct no-no list than a DUI. I'd expect a ruling sooner rather than later.

aggravated assault n. the crime of physically attacking another person which results in serious bodily harm and/or is made with a deadly or dangerous weapon such as a gun, knife, sword, ax or blunt instrument. Aggravated assault is usually a felony punishable by a term in state prison.
