I think some of those check-downs were Haley. As I speculated about Cassel not being allowed to audible, I think he was told to play safe as well. Trent Green and the announcers said tonight multiple times that Cassel was not allowed to audible under Haley so the check downs wouldn't surprise me either.

No no no its not on ****ing Haley. Cassel was captain check down in New England as well. Its who he is.

That entire offense in NE is built on a lot of short quick passes.
