Life Could you build a house out of Legos?

We're talking a full-size house that you live in. The wiring and plumbing could be the standard stuff, but I'm wondering if the rest could be built out of Lego. How long would it last? What would be the maintenance costs?

I wonder how long it would last. It seems like if you glued the pieces together it could last a long time. You'd likely need to have something heavy on the bottom, though, to keep it from blowing over in a stiff wind.

No kidding. Probably be more expensive than traditional wood and sheet rock. Legos are expensive.

Not if you used a tiny tiny trowel to fill each lego with concrete when laying them.

You would need some traditional headers and rafters but as long as it's one story on slab, everything else could work out well.

I don't think it would last that long. UV would start breaking down the plastic and water seeping in and going through freeze thaw cycles would wreak havoc.

I believe that a house made of Legos would stand strong for some time (assuming kids didn't come to steal pieces from it), but I imagine that it would lack the appropriate qualities that are basically assumed to be standard by modern-day construction (insulation, for example).

Then again, there would be a lot of air stuck in the walls in between the Legos, so maybe it would insulate well after all.
