Did you drink the Kool Aid and forget that they tried to replace him in the off season? I think Nolan is the biggest reason for the improvement of the Falcons this year. He's had great defenses everywhere he went. Mike McCarthy was the OC at SF and couldn't get Alex Smith going. Norv did a little better by running Gore 300 times the next year. By the time Nolan was ushered out the door, their best QB was Shaun Hill.

Wade Phillips is a better DC than Nolan. Maybe we should hire him as HC.
