If you want to return to glory, we are going to have to be patient. We can't just put a band aid on this and fix it. A new GM is going to have new ideas and that's what we need. This whole organization is tainted guys.

You are right that it will start with a GM. Everyone hopes the Pioli will be fired. If he's not, we are in big trouble.

My point is that it isn't going to be pretty. So many people believe that a new HC, GM, and QB are going to fix it all instantly. That is so far from reality it is scary imo. We are almost going to be starting from scratch.

That won't fix it all, but it will cover the gaping wound in the torso of our franchise.

but we aren't going to be the 49ers and turn it around overnight. We don't have the talent or the leadership on the field.
