IMO many moves that Goodell has made are for the good of the game, things that Tagliabue ignored. This fascination for a longer schedule is idiotic.

It seems to me that a better solution would be expansion.

More teams mean more money and more games as well as creating broader interest.

Plus, it gives us the additional opportunity to beat somebody like the Mexico City Brahmas like a ginger step-baby.
