1. Chip Kelly
2. Andy Reid/Mike Holmgren 3. Some other college head coach I'm tired of NFL retreads - especially the ones that have been behind the camera too long. Andy Reid or Mike Holmgren are the only NFL coaches I'd like because of their innovations on offense and their playoff experience. Kelly is my #1 but I'd take a fresh college mind over something stale like Romeo and his lookalikes.

If Clark's looking 'right away' at HC candidates, that precludes playoff coaches right? I mean, they're kind of busy.
So I think maybe it is Chip Kelly. I would like Kelly or JAY Gruden. |

I'll take Berry over McGraw. And Battle and McClain are no better than anything.

good thing that was Sabbys position and McGraw still would have been playing over Abe Elam. As we play three crappy safeties in this defense
its moot now but the point is that 7-9 had way better talent than this 2-14 team and it's not even close. Even the bad players on that 7-9 team are better than all the Pioli draft pick busts we trotted out there this season |

I agree with that. But the Chiefs were bad in ALL Phases of the game for the majority of the season. That's on RaC.

He's not a scapegoat. He was horrible and a big part of the problem. And yes, you can look back, I was one of the most critical about the stupidity of the hire as soon as it happened.

I don't care WHO they beat, the fact is, they BEAT them...W/o Jammal Charles. The 2012 team got blown out repeatedly WITH Charles. That's coaching.

And the Chiefs had won 5 games BEFORE they trotted out Orton. You're arguing over wether or not Peyton Hillis is better than Jackie. They both sucked equally as hard and gave little contribution. The difference between scrubs like Jackie Battle and Peyton Hillis, or McGraw vs Elam aren't enough to validate a 5 game swing.
