He coached for 14 years in Philly and couldn't get it done so why would he at KC?
I'm somewhat concerned about his inability to get it done myself, but he's so much better than Romeo that you should feel bad for even asking the question.

My hope is that Reid follows in the tradition of Vermeil, Belicheck, Shanahan, and Coughlin as a guy who needs another crack at it to finally win a Super Bowl.

He has a career winning percentage in the playoffs above .500. Know how hard that is to do?

Reid typically failed in the playoffs because his Eagles teams were just a step below SB qualifiers or SB winners.

2000 - lost to the SB qualifier Giants
2001- lost to the SB qualifier Rams, one of the greatest offenses EVER.
2002 - lost to the SB winner Bucs, one of the greatest defenses EVER.
2003 - lost to the SB qualifier Panthers.
2004 - lost SB to the Patriots.
2008- lost to the SB qualifier Cardinals.
2010 - lost to the SB winner Packers.

When you get that far sometimes you just keep losing to teams with better QBs or elite defenses if your QB isn't good enough.

Pretty hard. He just didn't win the right games.

The way things are developing now, though, I feel like he could get it done here.
