I want a QB and the thought of drafting a LT drives me wild. I have watched Joeckel's vids numerous time and did so critically, but I have to admit he is VERY GOOD! He really doesn't have any glaring weakness and my biggest knock on him is that he could get a little stronger... that is something that can be easily fixed. The kid is a tremendous prospect but again he sadly doesn't play QB!

What drives me nuts is that it'd be a lateral move as our reward for this horrible season.

It'd be like letting Justin Houston go and drafting Jarvis Jones.

True that is the part that bugs me. Sure Joeckel is a great player but it isn't a position I feel we should be filling... just tag or re-sign Albert IMO!

Exactly. The only thing wrong with Joeckel is that he doesn't play QB.

If we let Albert walk and draft Joeckel and get a QB some other manner than #1 overall, how many more games are we gonna win? Joeckel VS Albert?
