From now on, we're not allowed to use stats in football discussion.

We should just ignore that Alex Smith has started 13 MORE games than Cassel and still has one less TD in his career.

And the fact that he has been benched 3 times for career backups means nothing.

We say that Matt had great 2008 and 2010 seasons because he played against the NFC West. Well Smith has played that division every year in his career. Why has he never had a year like those 2 cassel seasons?
