Yeah I don't think that was a bad interview at all. Granted I watched it after reading some of the comments so I was expecting something worse. I would say the one thing on the play is I wouldn't have forgotten about where Jerry Rice was. Easy to say with not being on camera and having a conversation before drawing the play.

I also don't think his reaction to the drug question was bad. Even if you don't do drugs, you still might be worried about answering it honestly. Just knowing what the drug of choice is doesn't imply you do said drug, but in an interview setting I think the first thought going through my head would be "don't admit you know the answer right away".

The guy couldn't quickly absorb one play from a WCO system without having to be walked through it.

Haven;t you seen many of these types of things? Most quarterbacks should have been able to quickly draw up the same play Mooch just did and explain most everything he just did.

Geno drew the line, qb and back and didn't even draw up the receivers...

I am fully on the Genowagon, but this interview was a total flat tire.

Anybody know how big Andy Reids playbook is?

If its big, this type of thing could mean that we cant expect Geno to come right in and start right away...maybe thats why they are talking about making a move for a vet...

I didn't. I thought Mooch did a bad job explaining. He explained it easy enough, then when he reiterated it, he rambled it off quick and in a confusing manner. I feel like Gruden always does a better job of that.

The other advantage we have that should help with that is the new test at the combine. Supposed to help show how a player learns. Think it should help immensely with young QB's.

Also, I hope we get the whole digital playbook ipad thing Denver adopted last year. That type of technology can be SUCH a good learning aid. Especially when they can link to video of practice or competition. Would be a huge help to this team.
