The Bills, Jets, and Cardinals haven't denied it to my knowledge. Just the Jags and Browns.

There is no team. The 49ers or Smith's agent were trying to drum up interest for him. I don't think any deal is imminent. Anyone who wants Smith will wait until San Fran releases him and call their bluff.

Here is my question.....

This whole "report" came out at an odd time. It surfaces after the QBs have worked out at the combine and after a couple weeks worth of reports that the 49ers aren't getting much interest about Alex Smith.

I'm starting to think that there is one team out there that low balled the 49ers for Smith and the 49ers are trying to use this to either try and drum up interest from more teams who didn't like what they saw with the rookie QBs....or trying to use this to up the pick that was offered by the one team.

The report mysterously came out with in 24 hours(that I saw) of a report saying Alex Smith was garnering little interest from other teams.

They are not connected. Matt Casehole has been evaluated for about two seconds and been seen as the no place in this league pile of shit he is. Thats why he will be cut and thats why it has nothing to do with alex smith. As much as i dont want Alex, the situations arnt remotely linked.

See the light people. Geno will be a chief.

And to that I'll add; There is NO ****ING WAYIN HELL, after casshole/peeholi, that Clark did not lay the ****ing law DOWN on candidaates for either gig in regards to pulling another re-hash. There is just NO way. At this pont, I simply have to trust that Clark wants to FINALLY jon the rest of the modern NFL.
