We're drafting for depth in whatever situation we encounter. We're now back to the position of taking a QB because his value to the roster is equal to the other two ultra important positions on any roster.

By the rationale that the #Chiefs will still take Joeckel (or Fisher) #1, the same logic would also put Geno Smith back in the picture.

Ask Reid/Dorsey, not me. Why would they give up two second round picks, and pay 9 million to a guy if they were going to draft a QB #1 overall?
