So there's basically no evidence that Dunta Robinson is good at anything except:

1. Hitting people.

2. Tackling.

Which makes him an ideal candidate to replace Kendrick Lewis, who does...neither of those things.
He's bad at zone, and he's a good hitter and tackler, you don't play him at free safety, if anything he'd play strong safety, which we already have berry for. It makes sense to put him at corner on Berry's side to aid in run stopping if Dunta in fact does better in man than zone.

We always try to patch our secondary, if it isn't the corner position, it is at safety.

Why?

He sucks at corner. This has already been explained to you. He gets beat by WRs constantly. The dude was getting roasted by Dexter McCluster in the season opener.

Or we could see Berry go to FS and Robinson at SS. I personally believe that if Berry would be godlike at FS.

He's a free safety, he doesn't see the same tackles as say, a middle linebacker should, you're also talking about a wide variety of variables such as opponent offenses, propensity to see a tackle due to how bad or good the front 7 is and so forth. Ed Reed doesn't have to make tackles because his front 7 has always been good, put him here on the Chiefs where we're constantly losing and getting ran on, and forced to cover man to man due to short 3rd down conversions, and you'd probably see Ed Reed up there too. You're missing the point entirely.

The guy was on pace to miss TWENTY TACKLES last year had he not been hurt.

Shit player. Can't tackle. Doesn't make plays. Zero interceptions last year. One pass defensed.

He sucks.
He's a shit player because he had zero interceptions last year and only one pass defensed because he was injured?

What about the previous two years before that with what? 3 interceptions each year and closer to 10 or more passes defensed each year?

yeah, he's so ****ing bad when he's on the field.

He'd be better than Kendrick at corner, and Kendrick is better than Dunta at Free Safety, soooooooooo, where else would you put him? He's probably not a better nickel than Arenas.

Also, Dexter rocks, so that example sucks. He's going to go nuts in Reids offense.

I'd love to see that, but it would take a defensive scheme change to move Berry over to FS. He's certainly versatile enough to play the FS position. Remember his rookie year?

You are a true reerun.

Kendrick Lewis and Dexter McCluster are two of the worst players at their positions in the NFL.

I'm not going to debate with you anymore because there's no use. You love shitty players. And there's nothing I can do to change that.

Yes you can, if you aren't foolish enough to look at a heavily variability statistic like an adjusted weight for tackling, and then set your roster because of it. Lewis starts because he's football smart and a good player, he's young, AND he's cheap.

And he's loyal, he'll stay a Chief.

Then don't debate it. Your opinion is based on statistics. Mine is based on what my eyes see.

You see McCluster over there with a poor Yards per Catch in a Dink and Dunk offense, who is a running back by nature, and you call him bad.

I call him a hard working athlete who is a playmaker the second the ball is in his hands and will fight for every inch on the football field and line up at any position you ask of him.

I'll take 53 of those please.

What I find interesting is not so much the Robinson signing but how much of a welcomed relief and pleasant surprise this new regime has brought to most CPers and most Chief fans in general with all the immediate movement since taking charge unlike the Steadman,Peterson,***** 40yrs in the desert' routine.

Just taking immediate ongoing action is so foreign to this team and our fan base and IS a pleasant and much needed surprise for all.

He averaged 28 yards per game.

You like players who:

Average 28 yards per game.

Lead the league in missed tackles.

He's not productive, and getting the **** smashed out of you because you're small and slow doesn't mean you have heart.
