IMO he's a closer to a Trent Green/ Drew Brees combo more than he is a Cassel 2.0. The guys done nothing but work his whole career. I don't really care about his first few years in the league and I don't think they represent what he is now as a player. I think his last three years are a better indicator of what kind of player he is. I by no means think he's great or a long term answer for our QB position but I do think if he puts up a 95 plus QB rating this year we'll win alot of games and probably make the playoffs. Of course I wanted Geno and wasn't happy with what we gave up but I'm excited to see what Pederson and Reid are able to do with Smith...not to mention we're surrounding him with playmakers. I'll probably be killed for this and called delusional, blah blah blah but I personally think Smith is going to have a really good year. Dude is coming here with a chip on his shoulder, like Reid, I love that.
