I passed up a football scholarship to go to the same college as my girlfriend.
we broke up less than a year later.  easily the single most stupid thing I've ever done. while it is a regret....at the same time I wouldn't be where I am today and have the family I have today if I'd not made that stupid decision ....life is good, so I wouldn't like...go back and change it if I could, but still....what a frigging dumb ass!
