Thanks for proving that point for me
no one had ever said they have to be drafted first overall.

BUT.drafting first should give you the best shot at getting the best one

I bet % that goes up in the coming years considering 2/3 of last years playoff QB's weren't first round picks.

You're comparing 6 rounds to one pick.

Seems fair.

Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, John Elway.

12 Super Bowls alone. All picked 1.1.

I'd love to play poker with some of you, because your understanding of implied odds is absolutely pathetic.

It's amazing that in a league where you can draft a first round QB and have a legit shot at stabilizing your team for 13-15 years half the time you take that chance, that there are still people that think you shouldn't do that and instead, buy a bunch of lottery tickets that have a 1:20 shot at hitting.

This fanbase is ****arded.

We have had an absolutely ELITE left tackle and didnt win shit.
We have had an absolutely ELITE pass rusher and didnt win shit.

We have passed on damn near every quarterback that has won the last few superbowls and yet, still, there are DROVES of fans that are totally ok with putting their dicks back into the blender.

It's truly awe inspiring.

Here's that "drafting a QB is pure chance" assumption again.

Who are Terry Bradshaw, Troy Aikman, and John Elway.. when did they last win?

Were they before the era of free agency?

EDIT: I looked up Terry Bradshaw.. he wishes he has the stats of Matt Cassel.
