The Broncos seemed to have done their part... it was Dumervil's agent Marty Magid who fucked up... hence he is fired.

Really? By sending a contract 8 minutes before the dead line? This is fail all around. Broncos(Horseface), agent and Dumervil for dragging his feet. The agent was the scape goat.

I'd have to dig it up, but I remember reading that the Broncos got the contract back to the agent at around 10am. The agent didn't get it back to the broncos until 1 something, leaving very little time for anything to be worked out.

Yeah, agreed. I think they're disappointed that it didn't work out, and I'm sure they wish the NFL had let it happen. However, they were prepared to let him walk, and thought that was the case prior to the agent/Dumervil changing their mind at the last minute. That's not their fault.
