Actually, I'd have to argue that there were three guys in one year. Anyone who didn't realize that Wilson and RG3 were elite as well was just blind.

Seriously, every single GM that didn't already have a QB and passed on Wilson should have been fired this offseason. Come to think of it, which of them wasn't?

Oh quit it with the ****ing hindsight bullshit with Russell Wilson. He's so elite that 32 teams passed on him for 2 rounds.

And RGIII had flaws....just like Andrew Luck had a flaw or two.

Andrew Luck's only flaw is his speaking voice.

That dude is the most complete pocket passer to ever enter the NFL.

Hyperbole much? He's played a whopping one year in the NFL, during which he threw 18 picks (the same number Sanchez threw), threw for less touchdowns than Russell Wilson, with a lower completion percentage and QB rating than both Wilson and RG3. Oh, and PFF graded Wilson higher than RG3 and Luck.

Peyton Manning, also threw a crap ton of picks his first year, also threw for a ton of yards, and went 3-13 his first year. Why? Because that is how Bruce Arians trains his qbs. Trial by fire. Seattle didnt let Russell Wilson loose till about week 10. Rg3, was never fully released. Hence why he threw so few passes, and most of his passes were off of zone reads, and play action boot legs. Those two were put on a govenor, where as andrew luck was handed a full blown ferrari, and told to have at it.

Andrew Luck, is the most complete qb since peyton manning to enter this league. Oh, and Andrew Luck, of the three, had by far the WORST team.

Oh....and a QB like Andrew Luck comes around every 10 ****ing years. I guess we should wait until the next "elite" QB comes around.

Someone let me know when that is.....

More like every 15. Consensus top QB prospects:
1983 - John Elway
2012 - Andrew Luck

not sure where you got that from. That wasnt what i was saying at ALL, not anywhere near it actually. I was just defending how good andrew luck is. Not talking about the chiefs in any way shape or form.....

This. I don't remeber seeing all these CP Nostradumbasses pining for Wilson last year. Yeah, there may have been a couple, but he wasn't some can't miss guy that the board was going gaga over.

What about Cam Newton? He only set the rookie passing record in 2011, which was broken by Andrew Luck in 2012. Newton's already amassed 62 TD's in 32 games.

62 TD's in 32 games.
That's insane.

But, I forgot. No one is "elite" coming out of college.

Cam Newton won the JUCO national championship as well as the BCS championship.

All of the most successful QB's in the NFL are cocky assholes. Do you think that for one minute, Joe Montana, Dan Marino and John Elway weren't cocky assholes? Hell, Marino still IS a cocky asshole.
