D Stubbs bunt grounded out to first. M Brantley doubled to deep right. J Kipnis walked. A Cabrera doubled to deep right, M Brantley scored, J Kipnis to third. Right ****ing there is where you warm someone up. |

Honestly I know I might get a lot of hate for saying this, but If Hoch keeps looking pretty decent I wouldn't mind letting him take the 5 spot for an outing or two. Not that that will ever happen. But we all know hes the same mental midget as usual who has the occasional lightning start that reels you in and sets you up for failure.
nvm

This is why you don't do that You Can't See Me shit when you're winning the 2nd game of a 4 game set with Smith and Davis going in the 2nd half.

The LEAST important head coach/manager/guy who blows the whistle during practice, of all the major sports, is baseball. By far, not even close, baseball. (exception: unless he's shredding your pitcher's arms, see: Muser)
People harp on the manager for little-bitty penny-ante crap all the time like lineups, or not perfectly forseeing when to pull a guy with the fan's 20/20 hindsight. The heat builds, they fire the manager, and the guy who is ACTUALLY important, the GM, gets to skate through 3 or 4 manager firings before people finally wake up and look at him.
