I disagree. Early on in one of his first interviews he was talking about the "Circus Offense" and he wanted it to be HERM'S team, not Dick Vermeils. He DID destroy the offense, without question.

This. Its death came in the preseason that year when Solari tried to pass to score a TD as time was running out of the first half and the ball was intercepted. The Chiefs came out in the second half and were a total run run pass offense and settled for field goals. KC ended up winning that game barely, and Herms mind was made up. He had proved his point to himself at least. He publicly called out Solari for his play calling afterwards saying things lime Solari was new and would get better...The Offense was never the same after that. Never.

First off: I think the 9er fan who made that should've avoided using the Battlestar version of All Along the Watchtower but that's just me.

Thank you, this is what pisses me off about the naysayers, especially the ones that say Cassel 2.0.

Of that 5 minutes of footage, Cassel made maybe 3 of those plays in his whole career.

There are game managers, and THEN there are smart, mobile accurate game managers. Aikman was never Favre, Young, Manning or Rodgers, but he has a shit-ton of gilt on his fingers because he knew what the situation needed at all times.

That's different from the 2010 Cassel game manager, where it's 'hey, our competition Suh-hu-huh-UCKS all season long, so hand the ball off as often as possible and throw away any passing down that mystifies you in the least, we'll get them later.' And it's WAY THE **** different from Cassel game manager against real compeition, where his uniform was fitted with a PEX line from anus to ankle for the most efficient way to shit down one's leg.

I'd love for someone to compile a video of the most boneheaded mistakes AS has committed on field. Not things he failed to produce, but things he did to the detriment of the team. We've seen Cassel's, some boggle the mind, some are eligible for AFI designation of greatest comedies in history.

When we finally rise to a playoff level team, I will also expect
