I'll be interested to watch for sure. A couple factors that could come into play in the Chiefs favor though:

1. Pioli is a dick, and Albert wouldn't have been the first player to walk because of him.
2. Albert's now had the opportunity to negotiate with at least one other team, which might have helped him to figure out his real value.

Doesn't help that it was reported that the Dolphins were willing to meet his contract demands and the only thing blocking a trade was negotiations between the Chiefs and Dolphins on compensation.

Fisher is going to the right side. I guaran****ingtee you that Andy liked hearing Eric would play RT. He values both positions equally and Branden is established. We drafted a RT at 1.1.

Why try to unload him then? Just doesn't make much sense to tell the NFL you don't want him, then draft a really good LT prospect, then put him at LT.

I think Fisher will be the long term LT. Might start off at RT though. Will be fun to watch.

He'll be LT eventually, but not out of the gate. Having a guy like Jamaal is a good reason to have a great line. Jamaal may go for 2000 in the next couple of years.
