I'm surprised they are bring him in as a FB seeing as how they A) traded for one and B) drafted one and C) we have no depth on the d-line and if hes more of a LBer, his competition would be what, Frank Zombo and Edgar Jones lol

I think my point is I'd love to see a guy like that, on paper make the team, but I feel the odds (numbers at the position) are stacked against him.
Dude came on as a freshman when Jake Sharp (IIRC) went down with an injury. I ****ing loved the kid. Dude hit like a ****ing freight train. There's a YouTube that Zeke posted in the KU football thread where he KOs some moron UT safety. I ****ing loved it. He got through the line and went looking for somebody to hit. It was a glorious display of football.

Then KU hired Turner Gill. Radio moved him to LB :Spock: and proceeded to embarrass the university and I quit watching.

Didn't much as a freshman. I assume they didn't work on it much in LB drills.

Looked it up. As a freshman he caught 15 balls for 105 and a TD. He did take one for 30 yards. In 2012 he came in on O and caught one for 12. Obviously Weis thought he was worth putting out there for a trick play.
