Hud was saying "what if Salvie was in Pinstripes????" Fever told him to shut his whore mouth.

Hud played for the Yankees. He's a mercenary. He has no real skin in with the Royals. He'll kiss the dick of whoever signs his check. I'd much rather have a real ex Royal for a color commentator. Like Seitzer, or MacFarland, or Boddicker, or Wathan. Somebody who actually gave a rats ass about this team once.

Only Ex-Royal I'd take Hudler over would be Mike Sweeney. Golly Jeepers....OW MY BACK!!! Biggest KC thief in the 1990s. He stole money from the Royals. Stole it.
