Chiefs Pre-Camp Optimism Poll - Page 2

Will camp getting ready to kick-off I'm interested in how the optimism meter is running around here. So assuming no major injuries what will be Chiefs record be in 2013?

1. 0-4
2. 5-7
3. 8
4. 9
5. 10
6. 11
7. 12-16

I'm going with 10.

4 of the first seven we win....OAK, Jax, Ten should be wins and then we find 1 win from NYG, Dal, Phi, & Hou
The next 9, 6 should be victories, but I'm assuming we stumble on 1 of those so another 5 victories. (Browns, Bill, Raiders, 2x Chargers, Colts).
I think we can split with the Donkies, but lose to Redskins, which makes 10 wins.

srsly with Von out, the mannings are going to be struggling early and if brokeneck has to throw all game every game.... this could become a very good season for chiefs fans :rubshandstogether:

I'm pretty sure this is being discussed at 1 arrowhead drive right the **** now

and the emphasis on getting out early with a lead in the division could be quite a bit more amplified

I'm going to be a sucker for another year and say 10 wins. I have no clue why I keep knowingly setting myself up for disappointment.

No we don't. This isn't a rebuild. We're not devoid of talent. The whole not expecting big things year one is bullshit. There NO reason we should be under .500. None at all.

Phi doesn't belong in that group. 8-8 would get people fired in Dal,NYG or Hou. They are playoff caliber teams.8-8 would be a good year for philly.
I used to think 10 but I just don't see us sweeping oak and sd which is what we would probably need to do to get to 10. Assuming relatively good health 9-7. People here are underestimating how big it will be going from horrific to respectable. I know people say it's all about the money but I have to believe some free agents would want no part of a 2-14 mess yet would listen to a 9-7 up and coming team.

That is truth. Things could go so many ways this year. I think predicting over 9 wins is silly, but whatever. We just have to wait and see.

I am excited though - the coaching change and the QB change have me itchin' to see some football. I don't care if everyone hates Alex or if he's not all that great - we're stuck with him and he's NOT CASSEL
