I'd bring in Mays for a look as the Ted backer.
Dude's an idiot, but he can hit the !@#$ out of people. If you ask him to do much more than the Belcher role, he's going to screw it up, but as a pure thumper and 2-down LBer, he'd be solid. Worst case scenario, he sucks and you give the role to Nico or Jordan. In that case, you still have a plus STs player for your trouble. If we can fit him on the roster and under the cap, yeah, I'd bring him in without question.
