It's an alignment and like all alignment, there are strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, there are endless amounts of variation with the formation and personnel which when coupled with the endless amount of route concepts/run philos, make for a nightmare.

Agreed. However, it did it stop those teams from attending different "college" clinics in the off season - Or it did it stop NFL teams from traveling to Alabama, Ole Miss, Stanford, A&M, etc, to talk with their coaches.

During the playoffs, Green Bay was completely caught off guard. They had no idea how to stop the 49ers offense.
