The 49ers were near the bottom of the league in first downs, dude.

This isn't an argument you can win.

Alex Smith is Alex Smith, and had NOTHING to do with SF's defense.

Alex didn't generate a lot of first downs, that's kind of the point, genious.

Not by passing on first, second OR third down.

Kaep is by far better. I'm not arguing that.

What I'm saying is that Smith worked the clock and gave the defense more time on the sidelines.

From the info I posted earlier this off-season, there was a large contingency of Chiefs FO staff that wanted to take Kaepernick instead of Baldwin in 2011 but were overruled by Pioli.

Besides Chiefs games, I don't think he watches NFL football either.

How many first downs did they generate per game total and where did that rank in the league? What was their time of possession per game? Those are the questions you need to answer.

I'm not sure he watches the NFL. I realize that he watches Chiefs games after they've been pirated and posted on internet sites but I question whether he even watches in real time.

TOP is misleading.

There were a number of games last year we won the TOP and lost the game.

Well, when you think about it, almost every time we won the TOP we lost...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

That is why he loves PFF. The moron that started that company grew up overseas and never played football. He was compiling stats using video for years before he ever witnessed a live football game and I'm pretty sure he still lives in his mom's basement.

Before the preseason game, I'm going back and watching a Matt Cassel game from last year. I want to see the difference the way we did when Kyle Orton took over. Even Kyle ****ing Orton looked like a hall of famer after Cassel.

Don't spell "you" as "u". Nobody will ever take you seriously when you write like a 12-year old who is unable to read at the grade-appropriate level

I watch football every Sunday from noon to 11.

You're a ninny.

23rd...awesome, huh?

Don't forget 31st in third down conversion percentage.

When third down came up Alex thought to himself..."time to convert this down at a rate far below league average to keep my D fresh."

Oh, don't even. This place is filled with tons of 12 year olds having tantrums and throwing feces at the wall. And you want to bitch at someone shortening you to u?

Hahahaha, **** off!

When you want respectability at a place like this... it starts with how you treat each other. And this place has a LONG way to go before you can bother bringing up shorthand typing.
