What's bad about our WRs? You like McCluster. Our 4th and 5th guys whoever they'll be could use an upgrade, but realistically they're the best I've seen in years from this team. Even better than Vermeil's receivers, realistically.

Because they don't catch? Seriously, join the club. Watch some other NFL teams and the catching problems that their 4th and 5th WRs have.

If Donnie Avery as the 2 is your problem, I think you're being REALLLY picky here.

I'd rather see Hemmingway or Jenkins man the slot over McCluster. Wylie can be the 4th or 5th WR and the return man.

You thought wrong, man. McCluster is not good for the NFL at all. He's too slow and weak to get the ball in his hands consistently.

I'd agree with that based on what i've seen of him, its just a personal preference but i prefer smallish, quick hipped guys in the slot who're able to quickly get out of their breaks on those short to intermediate routes.

And like I said, that's not a terrible role, but Hemingway is a better fit for it.

Let Hemingway be the possession slot guy and Jenkins try and become the victor Cruz slot guy

i think Junior has the capacity of being a fine slot.

FWIW...
Junior Hemingway Combine:Top performer in 3-cone (6.59 sec), 20-yard shuttle (3.98), and 60-yard shuttle (11.16).

Dexter McCluster: Combine: 3-cone: N/A, 20yd shuttle (4.05), 60yd: N/A
Pro Day: 6.73 3-cone

Additionally, their 10 and 20 yard dash times are pretty close.
