Danny Parkins-‏Hearing a couple of very interesting pieces of potential Chiefs news

Danny Parkins ‏@DannyParkins 2m

I'm hearing Dexter McCluster is unhappy he's not on the return team. #Chiefs looking at all options, including trade.

Sounds like it. From all we've heard, Reid has a hard-on for McNugget as a gadget man in his offensive plans. As humble as McNugget appears to be, and considering how he hasn't accomplished shit in this league, it's hard for me to imagine him getting mad at Reid for possibly being left out as the ****ing kick returner. He looks to get plenty of touches this year on offense. He has to realize that.

If he doesn't and is actually really salty about something, **** him. See ya.

Could just as simply be the team leaking this because they don't want to keep him and wylie both. That's really tough to do and Dexter can't be a gunner/flier on coverage teams. Not many teams can afford to keep two players like that

Junior Hemingway Combine:Top performer in 3-cone (6.59 sec), 20-yard shuttle (3.98), and 60-yard shuttle (11.16).

Dexter McCluster: Combine: 3-cone: N/A, 20yd shuttle (4.05), 60yd: N/A
Pro Day: 6.73 3-cone

Additionally, their 10 and 20 yard dash times are pretty close.
Damn - Hemingway abused the combine.

Among WRs:

Tied for 3rd in bench press
8th in broad jump (I love this measure for raw athleticism)
#1 in the 3-cone
#1 in the 20 yd
#2 in the 60 yd

Came from a big school where he wasn't a primary option, so the coaching should've been pretty good. He's a strong guy with solid size and plus athleticism.

Hmmmm....

Maybe he should get a little longer look than I thought. He looked good at TC, but I really figured he was just the next TC wonder. With his measurables and if he's taken to coaching as it appears like he has, maybe I was severely underestimating him.

Not only wasn't he a primary option....but he had to deal with Denard Robinson as his QB.

So is it just me or are those measurables not perfect for a slot possession wr with plus athleticism?

Yeah exactly. Like I was saying, I'm sure he knows he's gonna get more touches on offense here with Andy Reid than he probably would anywhere ****ing else in the league. No way he's salty about special teams. This is his absolute best (and probably only) chance to be a player in this league. This year in this offense.

If it turns out this is true, he's an idiot and we should just cut him. Doubt it's true though.
