Is this all that matters in a QB now?

As an example from a recent draft, Ryan Mallett.

For this year's draft, Logan Thomas, who's projected as a 4th round pick on a few sites.

Do you all know the show Let's Make A Deal?

Monty Hall just selected you from the audience. The odds of being picked even once you get on the show are very very slim. There are hundreds of people in that studio.

He says, "I'm going to kick you in the nuts. You can trade in that groin kick, however, for this mystery envelope that contains an unknown amount of money. What'll it be?"

Right now you people who are turning down a hypothetical 3rd rounder for Bray are all upset that he offered you such a shitty deal that involves no curtains, boxes, or doors, so you're going to abstain from the deal and try and get on the taping of tomorrow's show to see if he'll offer you something better.

wellllllllllllll........

Kind of. The league is in a situation where they want the next big athlete.

Cam, Kaep, Wilson, Big Ben, RG3, EJ Manuel, and yes, Logan Thomas.....if he has any kind of season at VT this year, he will be a first rounder. His physical skill set is ridiculous.

You don't have to be a head coach... every team in the NFL, including the Chiefs, passed on him multiple times, and he plays the most important position on the field.

Same thing as Geno... every single team passed on him in the 1st round. There are a lot of terrible front office people, but I don't think it's 100%. It's obvious there were red flags that scared teams away from almost all these QBs. I'm not sure this is even a debatable point. It's what happened.

In Bray's case... he obviously had some headcase issues and didn't always work hard... he admitted as much to Gruden. More importantly, he was terribly, terribly inconsistent in college. One day he could look like a 1st round pick, another day he could look worse than Tyler Palko. He didn't show any improvement through college. His 2nd to last game against Vanderbilt, he got benched because he was absolutely horrible. Finished 11-29 for about 100 yards. That's terrible. He also threw for 350+ and lit up South Carolina's defense a few weeks before. He's not exactly a typical prospect... he's basically a huge raw arm. I do think he is working with the best coaching staff he's ever worked with... but I don't think he should see the field this year.

What do you mean, upper level? Someone coaching college or professional football wouldn't have time to spend so much time on CP. You realize the college season is starting, and so is the NFL season?

Is this really the argument you're going to go with? I guess we should really shut down football discussion down on this site since none of us are NFL coaches or GMs.

**** it, shut down media center first. None of the guys in there are actors or directors. Then DC, I don't see one senator in there! So how dare they talk about politics!

You think your son's/daughter's teacher is doing a shitty job? Why don't you become a teacher?

You think a politician is bad? Why don't you go run for office?

You think the new green apple-flavored Skittles that replaced the lime ones are terrible? Why don't you go sell your own candy and see how successful you are at it?

And your idiocy, hostility, and lack of football knowledge I'd expect to find in a freshman in HS is absolutely astounding to me.

Additionally, I'd gather that the majority of the people on this board would probably say that I'm somewhat amusing, friendly, helpful when possible, and generally well received.

FFS, I get along with several of the 49ers fans who came here and were met with some rather distasteful remarks.

The guy was arrogant and condescending about his knowledge of football. **** him, and **** you too. We have too many assholes on this board.

HE started it with his crap that I don't understand football as well as him. If you act like an asshole don't complain if someone calls you on it.
