Which is, again, not saying he's not good. He's got obvious tools and I think he's clearly the top QB prospect. Although I thought Boyd had a great showing last night. But how do you evaluate a guy playing a schedule like Louisville's? Even going back to last year, all you really have is the (great) Florida game...

(And of course level of competition didn't stop us from drafting Eric Fisher...)

He treated Florida like a HS game. I think he's the clear cut #1 pick next year.

I don't think so. He's a great player, but he's WAY over-hyped. He had one great game in the regular season and one great hit in a bowl game. Other than that, he was good, but he wasn't great.

If he played for a team that had anybody else on defense that teams had to be worried about there would be no question about him being number 1.

There are reports that he's ****ing soft. That he takes a good majority of plays off and only plays hard when he wants to.

I'm not so sure. He was far from impressive Thursday. Seemed slow and tired. Great body but the "taking plays off" problem seems to have become much more of an issue.
