Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

I was watching NFLN this morning, and they were talking about Geno NOT watching tape on Revis. I realize the dude is coming off an ACL injury, but come one. Revis found it interesting as well. maybe Geno doesnt plan on throwing it his way?

Even if this is just blowing smoke up the medias ass. Probably not a great idea to insult one of the best corners in football. A guy who already has a chip on his shoulder is already pissed at the team you play for and now you basically verbally bitch slapped him in the media.

Yeah, it certainly seems like a bad idea no matter what his agenda is. He comes off as douchy for sure.

A few drinks in, I asked "What's the Over/Under on Smith to Revis INT's in Week One?".

There was a silent pause, followed by insane laughter.

Three was the consensus.

If you're a Geno fluffer, him being thrown in to start right out of the gate (as the worst of three bad choices, only because another of them is injured) is about the last thing you wanted to happen.
