Yep. Plus, you didn't mention Aaron Donald. Our interior OL is good but that man is playing a different sport than everyone else right now.

As for Wylie, he faced better pass rushers in the playoffs (and late in the season) than Von Miller.

The Chiefs did manage to score 51 points with Can’t Erving matched up vs Darnold most of that 2018 game.

True. In a game where we also had four turnovers I believe. Shows you how nuts that was. I think we had a defensive score as well.

Donald just looks possessed right now. That Super Bowl is the only thing missing from his resume.

Nothing wrong with feeling fresh disappointment. The season was a long investment of time and emotion as they all are, with a very hopeful finale that went real bad at the end. Pretty angry if I think hard about it, so I don't. Anyway the good stuff will come back around.

Yeah because all big contracts Chiefs have given out like Chris Jones and Frank Clark have worked out so well!

Just have to draft well man.

I need a good explanation for this second half to get over this. I never thought something like that could happen with Mahomes. Now, when i see the 3&9 at the end of the game, how he couldn' t see either Kelce or Pringle?!

I've decided to temper my expectations for Mahomes. I thought he was going to get to Tom Brady status. The AFC is just loaded with QBs going forward. Tom Brady got his 6 with the Patriots competing with 2 quarterbacks in the conference (Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger). Now we've got 8 very good QBs in the AFC.
Mahomes (KC)
Herbert (LAC)
Rodgers (DEN)*
Carr (OAK)
Burrow (CIN)
Jackson (BAL)
Watson (HOU)**
Allen (BUF)
In addition to those guys, you've got Tennessee and Pittsburgh (who wont stay down for long)
*-If it is finalized
**-If he returns

All that being said, Honey Badger, Frank Clark, and Hitchens Will free up some space. If they can find some alpha to lead their defense, that would be nice. I personally feel they should trade Chris Jones away too, but I've felt that way for a while. Guy takes too many plays off.

You can't expect the Super Bowl every year. But most of the time it's because you lose in the first round of the playoffs, or don't make the playoffs at all.

When you're up 21-3 in the championship game, at home, with a postseason-veteran team, you can't blow that opportunity. You just can't. Those don't come around often at all. That's gonna stick in my craw a long time.
Exactly. Never thought Pat and this offense would choke it away.

I still feel like shit and probably will for a while. To each their own I know plenty of people on here and some of my friends get over losses like this quickly and I'm happy for them but that's never been me.

Time will help.

I got over the SB loss last season quickly. This is just the most disappointed I've been in with Pat and this team with the way they lost.

Yeah that's true.

This one was tough especially because of how Chiefs won that Bills game. Seemed like a team of destiny.
