Chiefs have 2 more calls go their way in another playoff win

Author is a former Eagles beat reporter. Doesn't mention bad calls going against KC like the false start that was really encroachment that would have made it 3rd and 5 instead of 3rd and 15. Doesn't fit the narrative. Also when did the announcers become the experts on how how the game should be called?

That said, you’re betting the game that the ref will 1) agree that forward progress wasn’t stopped early and 2) actually be able to see the ball.

If you get a shit spot, good luck. That cluster **** of a play will rarely give you clear angles to challenge.

If you have Josh Allen and take your chances with that play (instead of some other play), then you have to take the negative with the positive.

Andy Reid sure seemed to have plenty of success picking up critical first downs by getting Mahomes out of the pocket with multiple options. Instead of blaming the refs for maybe misspotting the ball by 6 inches, let’s look at McDermott first.
Very well said!

I’ve had a lot of time to think about this, and I’ve come up with the following:

The Chiefs are the best team in the AFC and they’re going to the Super Bowl to 3-peat. **** everything and everyone else. The end.

FOUR.

KC is winning FOUR straight super bowls.

Shannon Sharpe was incredible on First Take just now shutting down Smith's talk about refs and Allen. Worth a watch.

I never watch that terrible show but taking all of it in today.

Yep. Over it, don’t care. When anyone mentions refs to me I make tear finger movements on my face while looking directly in their eyes.

They shut right the **** up.

I won't punish myself by listening to an intellectual whore like Smith.

Same here. I never let it bug me, in fact, at this point, I get a chuckle out of it. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. God knows we put in our long hard years of pain and suffering. Enjoy the success and ignore the white noise in the background, because this team and we as fans, have earned it.

Or even more simply, if it’s not 100% clear they made it, they don't make it.

If the line judge cant clearly see it go over, the call on the field is short
