What should Veach accomplish this offseason?

Obviously we will try to keep OBJ and Ingram. Clark and Hitchens are probably gone.
I want Matheiu gone but I’m not sure Spags will let Veach do that. That will be interesting.

I think our #1 need has to be another receiving weapon. Mahomes went through slumps and a big part of that was the shit from Robinson and Pringle. They just aren’t good enough when Kelce and Reek are double covered.

We need to start a youth movement at DL, secondary and WR. Kelce, Jones, Ingram and Matheiu (whether he stays or goes) are starting to get old.

Basically WR, pass rush and secondary. I want Veach to attack those areas hard.

What do you think?

Von Miller isn't coming to Kansas City. I live in the Denver area and they love to continue to give him coverage. He has stated over and over he wants to finish his career in LA. After the Rams win it all I suspect Von will give them a sweetheart 2-3 year contract. OBJ for that matter as well.

The offense was never really as explosive after the loss of K. Hunt. Even though they went to 2 SBs and 4 Conference Championships, the offense just hasn't been the same without that stud RB with both power and speed. They should be looking for the next potential Hunt in this draft. CEH just isn't cutting it, too small, too slow, not explosive enough.

If we're going to pay a lot of money, it seems like Haason Reddick or Harold Landry would make more sense. At least they are young enough to put some years on a deal and spread some costs out. I like Jones, but he's getting up there, looks like he's starting to decline a bit, and he has a ring.

All don't matter if we're going to get the half-assed shit from the 2nd half of the AFC title game.

Oh and this too. Goddamn Veach and Tillis killed this Mahomes deal

How much do we see going though on Brown, Ingram and possibly Ward?

See if you can trade Frank for a late round pick. Let Tyrann walk. Let Sorenson walk. Trade Chris Jones for a first round pick. Draft Nik Bonnito. Draft Daxton Hill. Draft Kingsley Enagbare. Sign a DT for less than Jones. Sign Ryan Kerrigan. Maybe trade for Jakeim Grant. I’d like to see another one of these speedsters added.

Personally I would like to see a bigger more physical wr.

Frank is not tradeable Contract is way over his value. He either renegotiated or is probably cut.

Hunt biggest benef was his recieving skills. He ran routes like a wr. Most time could match him against a linebacker in the slot. Those plays stopped.

Come on. Who doesn’t want a Pro Bowl Defensive End with 4.5 sacks on the season. He is an asset!

I'm not sure you can back that up. Hunt only played 11 games with PMII. I'll agree that an upgrade at RB would be nice, but we have too many holes to fill to spend a high draft choice on a RB. I'm not wild about spending big money on a 2nd contract RB, either. Even guys like Larry Johnson and Okoye were pretty beat up after 5-6 years.

So if Mahomes restructures and Tyreek's cost is lowered, we should have around $70MM in cap space?

If you can cut Hill’s cap hit down to around $10 million this year, restructure Mahomes, 6/1 cut Clark and out right cut Hitchens…

We’ll be at around $74 million in cap space.

If you restructure him this last time it puts his cap hits at:

2023 - $52 mil
2024 - $49 mil
2025 - $51 mil

This would be the last year that I would do it. And technically you don’t have to restructure for the full amount.
