I don't use the messageboard casinos. Sadly, I live all too close to real ones. The two biggest ones in the country, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, are an hour away in CT. In fact, I was just there today, making my donation to the Indian Support Fund. We took their land, and they gave us lung cancer and take our retirement money...

You may hear TV commentators use the phrase "three and out." What they mean is that a team has failed to advance the ball 10 yards on its first set of downs and has to punt the ball. You don't want your team to go three and out very often. But you do want to earn lots of first downs, which you get after your team advances the ball 10 yards or more in the allotted four downs. Getting lots of first downs usually translates to more scoring opportunities, which are definitely good things.

Kind of. No more unnecessary internet, and no playing solitaire. A lot of people get on Facebook at work, which I don't. And a few of us have had IT come in while we've had a quick game of solitaire up. Heaven forbid we do that instead of play ping pong in the break room.

The guys with your team's colors run with or throw or kick the pointy ball, until they get it in the end of the field and they all jump around and slap each other's asses in celebration. If you're lucky, your team does it more than the other team. Once you learn that, the rest of it's just minutiae.

Wow. That sucks.

This work puter is pretty locked down so I have to hold off my porn-surfing for home. But I'm free to do stuff like go to messageboard sites, although I avoid Facebook so I don't trip an alarm wire or something.

The guy I relieved for my shift tonight was just in New York City, and he's got the flu. I wiped everything with alcohol, but I just know that bastard is gonna give me swine flu. If I die, I hope you remember my many posts here fondly.

I would never assume that.

You might prefer to check the packages. Although that's harder to judge, with the cups and all.
